I am really excited
about what can happen as you show your commitment and passion to not only live for Jesus but share him
with your mates.
It is encouraging to see active groups up and running across England,
Ireland, Scotland and Wales and that the
Make Sport Your Mission
manual will continue to be used to help you pray,
play, say in your clubs. It is fundamental that we
continue to commit to praying for our friends, and to sharing the gospel
with them with sincere love, care
and
commitment. It is such a privilege to be able to play and enjoy sport
with our mates and a fantastic opportunity to share with them the
freedom we now have in Christ. Wouldn’t it be great if your friend, who
you are praying for, came to know Christ personally too and share in the
certain hope of eternity with God, the fullness of life
that comes through knowing and living for Him. Lets go for
it – lets unashamedly live for Him in our sports clubs. Greg

University groups
The aim of Christians in Sport university groups is to reach university sportspeople with the gospel of
Jesus Christ. Weekly meetings are focused around prayer and evangelism,
to help students pray for their team mates, play in a way that honours
God, both on and off the pitch, and say something of the great news of
Jesus Christ. Find out more

'I led to Christ the guy I have been meeting with one-to-one to study
the Bible, on the team coach... there is now a Christian in all the
university and intramural hockey and football teams at my Uni.' |

'Jackie told me she prayed for me, and
to be honest it freaked me out. But when consistently she lived
so differently from most of the girls and, as team captain, was
a real support I got interested. I am a Christian now because
she never ducked telling me about Christ.' |
